E-Statements FAQs
A: There is no fee for receiving your statements electronically.
A: With this enhancement to shareNET you can now see your regular account statement online. You don't have to wait for the mail to arrive with your paper statement. We will make it available for you to view electronically.
A: Yes. To view your electronic statement you must log on to shareNET. This provides the same protection and security that you currently experience using the credit union's other online services.
A: No. Once you sign up for E-Statements you will no longer get a paper copy of your statement.
A: It's simple. After logging on to shareNET, go to "Additional Services" on the top menue bar. Click "E-statements" in the drop down box. This will walk you through viewing and printing the "Electronic Services Agreement", and completing the "e-statement application".
A: It's all done electronically! There is no need to contact the credit union unless you have questions.
A: Yes. The "Electronic Services Agreement" is available on our website, www.nswcfcuonline.org. You can print it using the printer icon on your browser.
A: As statements are produced at the end of each month, you will not see your first statement until the first week of the month following your sign up. Any "e-statement sign ups" received before the last week of the month will be activated for that month.
A: Once we have received your "e-statement sign up", we will send you a confirmation e-mail. If you do not receive this e-mail within five business days, please contact the credit union.
A: Once we have placed your e-statement online for viewing we will notify you by e-mail. It is then ready for your immediate viewing by logging in to shareNET.
A: On average, your statement should be ready for viewing by the fourth business day of the following month.
A: The requirements for viewing e-statements are that you have access to shareNET, an active e-mail account, and that Adobe Acrobat® Readertm 4.0 or higher installed on your computer (e-statements are in PDF format). Adobe Acrobat® Readerâ„¢ is available for you to download free in shareNET. You may also need to update your browser to the latest version.
A: Make sure you have downloaded the latest version of Adobe Acrobat® Readertm and your browser, and try again.
A: Yes. Your e-statement is a duplicate of the one you would have received by mail if you were still getting paper statements.
A:Just as with your paper statement, your e-statement contains disclosures giving a lot of important information concerning your statement. These disclosures set forth the procedures you would follow in this instance, and can be accessed by clicking on the "Important Information from your Credit Union" link on the E-statement selection screen.
A:Once an e-statement is placed online it will remain there for 24 months. After having participated in e-statements for 24 months you will have a rolling 24 months of statements online for your convenience.
A: When you select your e-statement for viewing the image is a PDF file that is opened in Adobe Acrobat® Readertm. Using the tool bar in Adobe Acrobat® Readertm you can print your e-statement or save it to a file in your computer. You can even send it to another e-mail address.
A:You can easily update your e-mail address online. After logging on to shareNET, select "My Profile" at the top right of the screen. On this screen there is a link to update your e-mail address. Remember, it is your responsibility to update us with any changes to your e-mail address. If we are not updated we can not be responsible for delivering your e-statement notification to the proper e-mail address.
A: If at anytime you would like to stop e-statements and return to getting a paper statement it is as simple as notifying us.
